Adrea Mach

An adventurous, American-born expat living in Austria, Adrea is a professional and globally published writer who worked three decades with the United Nations (UN Secretariat in New York, WHO and UNICEF in Geneva and IAEA in Vienna) as a communications and project management specialist focused on human rights, public health and vulnerable population groups. In 1998 via the Geneva Writers’ Group, she branched out to explore creative non-fiction and poetry. Developing Vienna as a base after UN retirement, in 2020 she launched a new career as a certified Psychosocial Counselor based on Viktor Frankl’s Logotherapy. She also practices Zen Buddhism, dabbles in haiku poetry and adores travel to new places. Finally, at 80, she is a bona fide “techno—peasant” with a budding sense of humor!
